No, honestly. What the freakin' Hell?
My uncle, Farrah Fawcett, Micheal Jackson, and Billy Mays. All dead. Within days of each other.
I actually don't know how I'm feeling right now. I mean, we all knew my uncle was dying and I knew it was going to be soon. But it turns out he died two hours after I talked to him on the phone. It's hard to put into words what I'm feeling right now. It's not liked I talked to him very often but whenever we saw each other or did talk on the phone we got along great and we did love each other a lot. Family is family, after all. I don't really feel like crying but as soon as it hits I know I will. Especially after hearing him breathe over the phone just like my dad did just before he died. And knowing the my uncle never really got to say any last words to me. And I already miss him, even though I know if he were alive we probably wouldn't be talking right now. But right now, I'm just kind of confused.
As far as Farrah Fawcett goes, it's not like I really knew about her. But if you showed me a picture of her I would have been able to at least give her name. I'm sure a lot of people are upset and I know I'm going to end up going through her biography to figure out where I know her from.
Micheal Jackson. I mean, wow. Micheal Jackson. It's strange, there were really only four songs of his that I really like (Smooth Criminal, Dirty Diana, Remember the Time, and of course, Thriller) But finding out he died was probably one of the bigger shocks I've had in a while. I was in a completely isolated camp at the time so I thought it was just a joke but found out it was real when the counselors started talking about it. Maybe it makes me a bad person, but was I the only one that thought Cardiac Arrest was just the wrong way for Micheal Jackson to die? Moonwalk off a building, maybe. Face caving in, more than likely. I feel like he went a little crazy (whenever he changed his skin tone...and everything else about himself) and I'm not a big fan of too much of his later work. But he was still a great artist and in some way, I'm sure I'll miss him.
Billy Mays. Everyone knew his commercials. Everyone knew his voice. Granted, I didn't know too much about the guy but come on! I saw his Oxy-clean add every freakin' day. Not that I really thought about it or anything, but now I can't get the man's voice out of my head. I know I'm never going to hear that title the same way again, man.
I guess that's all I really have to say. Just...wow, man.
